Real Estate is my Passion. It is the thing that I would do for free, and on rare occasions I have. After graduating from Cornell University with honors in 1984, I started my career in Financial Services with New York Life Insurance Company. Earning my Real Estate Broker’s license in 1988, I have experienced numerous market cycles that shape my practice today. So 28 years later, I am stronger than ever and better equipped to face the challenges of a “shifting” market as a worthy TRUSTED ADVISOR to my clients.
As an educating realtor, I value confidentiality and empower my clients to make informed real estate decisions. Similar to working with your Physician or CPA, each relationship begins with a thorough needs assessment and proceeds with a customized check list system designed to meet each client’s unique needs. Beyond the extensive market research, preparation, and strong negotiating skills–I tend to connect with my clients at a higher level, and have a little fun through the process.
Strong communication, professionalism, resourcefulness, and fairness are the cornerstones of my brand. My solutions driven, out-of-the-box approach to delivering an exceptional experience earns me referrals from clients and friends. What I am most proud of is being the Realtor of Choice for many Agents doing their personal transactions. No deal is too big or too small.
Staying current on market trends and giving back to the community also rank high on my priority list. Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Affordable Housing Specialist, Short Sale and Foreclosure Specialist, and Social Media Pro are among my current industry designations. I also actively serve as member of the Keller Williams Southwest Master Faculty, Mentor to new agents, and former member of the market center’s ALC (Agent Leadership Council). I am a Retired Affordable Housing Commissioner, former member of the Houston Association of Realtors Risk Management Advisory Board, current member of the Houston Black Real Estate Association Board of Directors (HBREA), and a Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
