Brought up in South Florida, Marta moved to Houston in 1975. She worked at Gulf Oil in Fort Bend back when there were mostly fields in the area. Her daughter was born in 1982 and in 1985, the family moved to Indonesia where her husband, who is also in the oil business, was transferred. Living in Borneo many years ago was a fantastic experience for the family. The family later moved to Jakarta, and in total lived in Indonesia for about 7 years. Marta treasures her memories and lifestyle which allowed her to spend time with her daughter, travel extensively with the family, and enjoy her hobbies. It fueled even more passion for her favorite pastimes, cooking and entertaining and allowed her to travel extensively with the family. She loves the memories and enjoys travel with friends and family when time permits. She continues to enjoy cooking and entertaining friends and clients at her home in Sugar Land.
Returning to Houston in 1992, the family moved to Fort Bend County. Marta had always wanted to become a Realtor, and in fact had taken courses in college. In 1996 she became a Real Estate Professional. Her experiences moving both overseas and locally afforded her personal knowledge and a full understanding of the pressures and stress that buyers and sellers may experience when buying or selling a home. Marta became a Realtor because she loves people. She has the ability to listen and understand her client’s needs and wants, and always puts the needs of her clients first. Her clients definitely become clients for life, and very often friends for life. She has now sold homes to the second generation of clients. They lived in the homes that Marta sold their parents and now live in the home that Marta sold them. The same commitment is very evident in every member of her team.
