My name is Shanetta Walls and I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. After graduating from Texas State University, in San Marcos, and receiving my B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, I moved to the Fort Bend area and have been here for the last 12 years. Raised in a family of real estate investors and my love for people, homes and decor it’s no wonder why I became a real estate agent.
Although real estate has always been in me, I worked many diverse jobs before becoming a Real Estate Agent. I taught G.E.D classes at a county jail, fund-raised for a local hospice center and even became a party planner for corporate events.
But it wasn’t until I became an Escrow Agent at a title company closing on homes that I knew I wanted to become a real estate agent. I enjoyed seeing people’s faces as they signed their last document and received the keys to their dream home.
In my spare time I enjoy volunteering, crafting, decorating, party planning and of course spending time with my family and friends. I’m the wife of a busy engineer and the mother of two very busy children, who I chauffeur around most days for ballet, swimming, martial arts, tutoring and not to mention friend’s houses for play dates. But I wouldn’t have it any other way, because the time I spend with them are the most precious moments of my day.
I take pride in the fact that I provide my clients with the tools and information they need up front so that their transaction goes as smooth and with as little stress as possible. Educating my buyers and sellers about the process of what’s going to take place during the home buying or selling process I feel is the easiest way to relieve some of the stress and fears one might have about purchasing or selling their home. I truly enjoy taking the time to really know my clients so that we are not just client and agent, but people who understand and trust one another which allows them to enjoy the home buying or selling process because they know I’m in their corner making sure everything is going just as it should. I’m passionate about what I do and the people I do it for, so let me open the doors to your dream!
